The historic Mixtape from our Mo'Jazz party in Baltimore Maryland circa 1994... An amazing crowd of people from all walks of life joined together every Sunday. The tunes played at this event challenged the norm and spawned what would later become the cities lounge scene. The soundtrack came from music etched into round black vinyl discs that the DJ's mixed on the fly with questionable record players and some broken headphones.

It was perfect.

"Future" is a single from the album, Bright Like Neon Love. The Australian trio Cut Copy has been in the headlines and on the tip of lips the world over. I was lucky enough to see them last September along with The Presets. I would imagine that many of you are already familiar with them but if you are not, do buy the album.

I know it may not seem like a big deal but I reccomend purchasing the cd from a store. Get the artwork and credits. Listen to the songs in the order intended. Carry it around for a while. Then rip it and pass it on.

This rerub of 2 Live Crews "Party" by the 2 Bit Thugs is like a three piece with extra biscuits and gravy... Fatness!

The Baltimore break-beat sound although undeniable, has been beaten like a cheap hooker as of late. These guys nail the genre and beef up the drums. The only song that doesn't drop the energy after this record is the other tunes of theirs making the rounds...
